After nearly 10 years of making significant changes to revitalize and improve downtown, Richmond Main Street is under threat of closing its doors after June 2010. The Richmond Redevelopment Agency, which provides nearly 75 percent of our funding, was stripped of major funding by the state of California, causing serious shortfalls to its budget.
