Feb. 25, 1948 Ordained as a Baptist minister and appointed associate pastor under his father at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. June 8, 1948 Graduates from Morehouse with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. June 8, 1948 Graduates from Crozer Theological Seminary in Chester, Pa., with a bachelor of divinity degree. |
