Vista Christian School receives new playground equipment

From the Globe News Desk

The students at Vista Christian School in Richmond celebrated Christmas a little early this year. Thanks to their “Santa,” the students started the new school year with a much-needed gift: a state of the art playground that they can enjoy year round.

The new equipment was recently installed courtesy of Don and Duane Andrews of Clear Capital of Truckee and on Friday, the Vista Christian community and local leaders celebrated the new playground with a special program, catered meal and of course, recess for the kids.

Although we may be experiencing a recession, there are miracles among us,” said Vista Christian Principal Adrienne Reynolds of the generous donation. “Coming to school and doing without lots of frills had become part of the daily routine. It’s good to see the children enjoy recess playing on new play structures.”
