From the Globe Sports Desk

Attention parents, coaches and fans. Do you know of a student athlete that deserves recognition?
The Globe is honoring young men and women who have gone above and beyond in their sport. Send a brief explanation of why your star athlete deserves this recognition, along with his or her name, school and age in the body of the email to felicia@theglobenewspapers.com. (Attachments will not be accepted.)
Selected nominees will be honored in The Globe sports section.
